The giftCrawling back inside yourself, you try to embrace once more the only thing worth living for. This gift, this treasure, this part of you that will never give in. Comforting, reassuring, perfect. Picking at the threads of your existence, you search for meaning, and purpose. The meaning and purpose you once had, until you stole it from yourself, and buried it deep, so that only its shadow remains; entertaining, but never fulfilling. A sighA sigh. A whisper. A person in the dark, calling a name. The air tightens, lungs scream soundless words. Muscles contract in one last final effort, before they too give in to the relaxing cocktail filling the blood. Eyes close. Not by willing control, but by the hand of another. There is no pain, no awareness, just endless pleasure, flowing through the pounding mass of heart. But, the pleasure takes hold, overrides, and burns itself out forever. The name is called again, through the darkness, and the sound of the one you loved takes shape, guiding you into oblivion.A sigh

She always walks away.Ripping. Stretching. Tearing. Shredding. Wrenching. This is how the boys heart felt as she walked away from him, like she always did. No matter what he did, she always walked, glancing over her shoulder as she went. It was like she would tie a rope to a piece of his soul, then cruelly rip it away with each ringing step she took. He couldnt bear to watch, but his eyes were drawn to her, like they always were, like a compass point is pulled to the North. No matter what the situation, he would find himself looking at her. His hands would sweat at the thought of hugging her. Just being that close made him nervous, and he even found itShe always walks away.
